Rocca di Riva

With civic museum and keep

Rocca di Riva is a fortress that has protected Riva del Garda and its inhabitants for centuries. The first evidence dates back to 1124, but over the centuries, the fortress has undergone many transformations until the radical one in the mid-nineteenth century, which gave it its current appearance.

Torre Apponale

With a spectacular view of the city

Torre Apponale, with its 34 meters in height, seems to calmly observe the incessant coming and going on Piazza III Novembre. Documented already in the thirteenth century, the Tower had above all a function of surveillance and defense of the city. If you sharpen your sight, you will see a golden glint above the roof: it is the Anzolim de la Tor, a golden weather vane in the shape of an angel that has become one of the symbols of Riva del Garda.

Strada del Ponale

A not-to-be-missed walk between Lake Garda and Lake Ledro

A not-to-be-missed walk between Lake Garda and Lake Ledro
For its environmental and historical characteristics, it is one of the most beautiful and well-known European paths. The Ponale road, used as a road until the early 90s, is now open to pedestrians and bikers who can thus enjoy unique views of Lake Garda.

Salita al Bastione

Three minutes are enough for an unforgettable journey!

The elevator has a panoramic cabin made entirely of glass: a device that allows you to admire the panorama of the center and Lake Garda in all its splendor. The route takes up the idea of the chairlift built in the 1950s and dismantled in the early 1980s, with some modifications compared to the original. The current route, in fact, has been moved to the north, directly under the Bastione, just to make the view from the cabin even more spectacular.
